Cancellation policy

This policy applies to all tours sold under the TourisTurkey brand. It is written to be easy to act on: the deadline depends on the product, and weather cancellations are always refunded in full.

Cancellation deadlines

Private charters have a longer deadline because the whole boat is reserved for your group. A cancelled charter cannot realistically be resold at short notice.

There is nothing to refund, because you have not paid

Every booking is pay on board: no deposit, no card details, no money changes hands until you are on the boat. If you cancel, there is nothing to refund and nothing to pay — but please tell us as early as you can, on WhatsApp or by email. A boat that sails with empty seats we could have sold is the one cost we cannot recover.

We do not take online prepayments, and we will never ask you to transfer money or send card details by message before your cruise. If anyone asks you to, it is not us.

If we cancel

We cancel only for safety — weather, sea state, or a port authority restriction. The captain makes that call and it is not negotiable.

When we cancel, you choose: another date at no extra cost, or a full refund of everything you paid. This applies no matter how close to departure the cancellation happens.

Changing your booking

Date and time changes are free within the same free-cancellation window, subject to availability. Changing the number of guests is usually possible up to 24 hours before departure; the price is recalculated at the rates shown when you booked.

Late arrival

Boats leave on time — a pier slot is a fixed booking and other departures follow ours. If you miss the departure, it is treated as a no-show. If you are running late, call or message us immediately; we will tell you honestly whether waiting is possible.

Your statutory rights

Under Turkish consumer legislation, leisure services supplied on a specific date or period — which is what a scheduled cruise or a chartered boat is — are excluded from the fourteen-day right of withdrawal that applies to most distance contracts. The deadlines above are our own commitment and are more generous than the law requires of us. They do not limit any right you have under mandatory consumer law.

How to cancel

Message us on WhatsApp at +90 551 826 07 14 or email info@touristurkey.com with your booking reference. We confirm every cancellation in writing — if you have not received that confirmation, assume the booking is still live and chase us.
